PS Plus Will Now Offer Two Free PS4 Games

Sony has revealed that starting next month, in June, PS Plus subscribers will now receive two free games instead of the usual one. The company also revealed the PS Plus content in June as well for North American and European customers.

Both North America and Europe will receive Pixeljunk Shooter Ultimate and Trine 2: The Complete Story on PlayStation 4, and both will get NBA 2K14 for free as well on PlayStation 3. But while European customers will be able to download survival horror game Lone Survivor, North American customers can look forward to playing Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. Also, US Vita owners will also be able to play Terraria and Mutant Mudds Deluxe as well.

Another important thing to note, Sony has stated on PS Blog, is that starting in July games will be available for even longer, from the first Wednesday of the month up until the the first Wednesday of the following month.

“Since we are always looking to continue the evolution of PS Plus as a service that really serves our community, we are excited to provide a more balanced set of games each month within the Instant Game Collection,” it reads. “As you’ll see below, starting in June, members will now have access to two titles per month for each of our platforms.”

This sudden, but exciting change to PS Plus might have been influenced by Microsoft’s own changes to their Games with Gold program just a few weeks ago.
