The Order: 1886 Delayed To Early 2015

Developer Ready at Dawn has announced, via PS Blog, that The Order: 1886’s release date has been delayed to “Early 2015.” The game was originally slated for a Fall release until today’s announcement. The studio discussed the reasoning behind the delay, stating it has decided it needs more time to deliver on its lofty promises.

“As we look to bring this experience to the players, we have decided to spend some extra time to deliver on the promise we made when we first introduced the game,” it reads. “As such, you can expect The Order: 1886 to come exclusively to the PlayStation 4 in early 2015.”

The game did not preview as well as many have hoped a few months back, with a slew of technical issues plaguing the preview demo, so the delay does not seem all that surprising. That being said, it is still set to make an appearance at E3 where hopefully we’ll get to witness a full public demo, revealing a lot more of the interesting title.

As of writing, Sony now only has one announced PS4 exclusive set to release this year in DriveClub, a game that was also delayed for almost an extra year.
