New Battlefield Game Leaked

As is the norm right before E3, another high profile game has been leaked in the form of Battlefield: Hardline. According to a new Battlelog update, and the supporting artwork and logo seen on the site, the game will be coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, PS3, and PC and will support Battlefield premium.

The game looks to be police-themed and will be developed by another studio another than DICE. Dead Space developers Visceral Games, which is also developing an unannounced Star Wars game with Amy Hennig, will be taking the reigns to the series this time around, where the project is referred to as “Havana.”

Other information include one of the game’s multiplayer maps Downtown, gameplay modes called Bomb Squad, Carrier Assault, and Blood Money, alongside the game’s four classes Enforcer, Mechanic, Operator and Professional. Battlefield Daily also got a hold of some in-game awards:

The game will most likely be set to make an appearance at E3 during EA’s annual press conference, where we’ll inevitably find out more about it. In the meantime we’ll be sure to update with any new developments.

Not a surprise to be sure, but interesting that they are spicing it up in between numbered entries this time. Wonder if it’s going to be another Bad Company-ish game along those lines. . . In any case, at least DICE is catching their breath enough for Mirror’s Edge 2 and Battlefront.
