Playstation Plus Update: Limbo & Battlefield 4 Trial Free

Sony has announced that starting tomorrow, two new games will be available for Playstation Plus subscribers. LIMBO and a Battlefield 4 trial will be available for download on May 27 according to two posts on the Playstation Blog. In addition, several games will be discounted as per usual.

The discounted games include Master Reboot for the Playstation 3, all three versions of The LEGO Movie Videogame and a day-one discount for the Playstation Vita game, Mind Zero.

June 3 will be the last chance to download the following games:Stick It To the ManRESOGUNPro Evolution Soccer 2014Little Big Planet Karting and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Single Player Mode.

LIMBO was released in 2010 by independent developer Playdead. The game is a 2D puzzle platformer with a grim atmosphere and a minimalist narrative.

Battlefield 4 was released last year to coincide with the launch of the Xbox One and Playstation 4. I say release hesitantly as the game has been plagued with crippling server issues so much that EA launched a month-long double-xp event in February as an apology. The Battlefield 4 trial offers the full multiplayer experience for 20 playable hours on the PS3.
