Halo Mash-Up Pack Coming For Minecraft

Halo is now the next Mash-Up Pack to join Minecraft for the Xbox 360. This is the third Mash-Up pack for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, as the first two were Mass Effect and Skyrim.

The Mash-Up has been teased by 4J Studios and Halo Waypoint’s Twitter since May 9, with the first image being of 343 Guilty Spark being a playable character. The Mash-Up includes a redesigned Halo-themed user interface, Halo-themed texture set, new-look items inspired by Halo, 40 character skins, and many music tracks from across the Halo series. The Mash-Up also includes an astonishing pre-made world, recreating some classic Halo locations like the classic Blood Gulch, Sandtrap and Valhalla along with many more to be found in the pre-made world.

4J Studios has also shown off new snippets of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 editions of Minecraft, giving players what the next-gen version will be like. The gifs for the Xbox One version can be found here and the PlayStation 4 version can be found here. The gifs show a higher draw distance and updated graphics/shaders in the game. These versions will be releasing soon, so expect to hear more at E3.

Minecraft has been a huge hit on the Xbox 360, selling over 12 million copies on the console. PlayStation 3 has experienced Minecraft launching on the console, with the physical disc recently being released. Minecraft PlayStation 3 Edition has sold over 1.5 million copies since its release.
