Chip and Joanna Gaines recently announced the end of their wildly popular show, Fixer Upper. Let's look back at all our favorite HGTV Fixer Upper moments.
Halo 5: Guardians Coming Fall 2015
We all knew it was coming; the only question was when.
After announcing that Halo 4 was to be the start of a new trilogy, and then jumping the gun by saying we would be getting an Xbox One Halo this year, Microsoft and 343 Studios have finally come clean about what we can expect. Halo 5: Guardians is an Xbox One exclusive that we can expect to see sometime late next year. Halo franchise director Frank O’Connor stated a number of reasons for the delay, including the jump from Xbox 360 to Xbox One, and the large scope and ambition of the title.
“It’s a really big project. It’s a big project in terms of moving over to the Xbox One. It’s also bigger in terms of scope and scale in the size of the already quite big Halo universe,” O’Connor said. “With Halo 4 we talked about how we had gone back to the drawing board on a couple of features of that engine, but it was really an iteration of the existing Halo engine. This is a new platform with much more capacity and much more power, and on a different architecture.”
O’Connor has went on record before stating his enthusiasm for Halo 5, and Microsoft is banking on it being another system selling exclusive, rightfully so. However, Microsoft is still playing coy about a potential Halo project that could release this year, which is commonly thought to be Halo 2 Anniversary. Nothing is concrete at this point though, so no matter how much sense it makes, it is all speculation.
Halo has a lot of fans though, and the series does a lot of things right, so I’m sure I speak for a lot of people when I say I am excited for Halo 5. How do you guys feel about this? Are you excited to see what the Xbox One has in store for the Halo franchise? Leave us a comment with your thoughts.
