Nintendo, as part of its latest financial report today, provided updated sales figures for its various hardware and software offerings. As expected, Super Mario 3D World leads the way for non-bundled Wii U games with 3.09 million sold. Pokemon X/Y was the top-selling 3DS game with a combined 12.26 million units sold.
6.17 million Wii U units have been sold to date after 17 months being in the market. By comparison, Sony’s PlayStation 4 has sold over 7 million units in only 6 months. Microsoft’s Xbox One has shipped 5 million units in the same time frame as the PS4.
Nintendo expects to sell roughly 3.6 million Wii Us for its financial year ending March 31, 2015. Below is the full list of both hardware and software sales.
