Wolfenstein: The New Order Gameplay Trailer shows Stealth vs. Mayhem
The new Wolfenstein game will allow players to mix up their apporach. A new gameplay trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order was posted today by Bethesda Software on their YouTube channel. The trailer shows off some of the gameplay in the upcoming first-person shooter.
The trailer depicts two possible ways to play, first showing a stealth approach and then showing a guns-blazing approach, all set to original in-universe german music. The gameplay shown in the trailer also indicated a non-linear level design and several of the weapons in the game.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is an upcoming first-person shooter that will be the ninth game the the Wolfenstein series. The game is set during the 1960s in an alternate universe where Germany won the Second World War and will continue the story from 2009’s Wolfenstein.
Players will once again take control of William Joseph “BJ” Blazkowicz, who after suffering from amnesia in the previous game, wakes up in a Nazi-controlled Europe and begins an impossible campaign against to overthrow the Nazi regime.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is being developed by MachineGames; The New Order is the first game by Swedish studio. It is scheduled to release for the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows on May 20.
Gamers who pre-order Wolfenstein: The New Order will receive access to a beta for the upcoming DOOM game by id software.
