Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare Comes to PC in June

Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare has finally gotten a release date for the PC. Leviathyn recieved an email today from EA which revealed that Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be available for the PC starting on June 24. The game will be available through Origin, EA’s digital distribution platform which rivals Valve’s Steam service.

Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will come in two digital versions. The standard edition, which is priced at $29.99 and a digital deluxe edition which offers $80.00 in-game coins and an exclusive custom accessories pack. The digital deluxe edition is priced at $34.99. Both versions offer two pre-order bonuses in the form of two unlock packs.

EA hasn’t commented on whether the Garden Variety Pack and the Zomboss Down DLC, which were made available on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One in March and April respectively, will be coming to the PC.

Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a multiplayer-only class-based third person shooter. It launched on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on Feb. 25. The game is based on Plants Vs. Zombies, the hit tower defense game that was released in 2009. A sequel titled Plants Vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time was released for the iOS last year and is also available on Android devices.
