Nintendo Announces Mario Golf: World Tour Season Pass
For the first time ever, Nintendo will be offering a Season Pass with one of their games. Nintendo of America announced in a press release today, that the upcoming 3DS game, Mario Golf: World Tour will be getting a Season Pass for future downloadable content.
Following the May 2 release date, Nintendo will be releasing three DLC packs which will each offer two new 18-hole golf courses and a playable character. The Mushroom Pack will launch alongside the game and will feature Toadette as a playable character. The Flower Pack will launch in May and offer Nabbit as a playable character, finally the Star Pack will launch in June features Rosalina.
Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing said “we’re letting fans expand their experience with Mario Golf: World Tour. Some players might be content hitting the links on the numerous courses already included with the game, while others will appreciate the option of being able to add to their fairway fun with new courses and characters.”
Players who purchase the Season Pass, or all three DLC packs will receive Gold Mario as a bonus playable character. Each pack will cost $5.99 with the Season Pass itself priced at $14.99.
