Cel Damage HD Hitting PSN Store Next Week

Cel Damage HD, the updated version of a cartoony vehicular combat game, is hitting the PlayStation Network the week of April 21.

Cel Damage was originally released on 2001 for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, and Gamecube. Footage of the game can be found here. Cel Damage HD was apart of Sony’s list of 100 games to be released on the PlayStation 4 this year, so it’s good to see Sony keep up that promise.

A reason to buy Cel Damage HD is the fact that it’s cross-buy: buy it on a PlayStation 4, play it on the PlayStation 3 or Vita. The game will also allow saves to carry across each console, which is becoming increasingly popular with recent releases.

The game will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita for $9.99. PlayStation Plus members can save 10 percent during Cel Damage HD’s release week. So instead of paying $9.99, it will be just $9.00. Savings are savings, folks.

The only downside of Cel Damage HD is the fact that it will not feature online multiplayer, but for a game that came out before Xbox Live and PlayStation Network, it is to be expected. It will feature 4 player spilt-screen multiplayer. Time to collect some couch buddies for some old-school multiplayer.
