Ubisoft Confirms Its E3 Press Conference Date

Ubisoft is the second company to officially confirm its E3 press conference date and location. The media briefing will be held June 9 at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles starting at 3 p.m.

As is the case with EA, which also announced its date and time a few days ago, we don’t have any concrete details as to what games Ubisoft will be showcasing. But with the recent announcements of this year’s Assassin’s Creed games, Unity and Comet, and the confirmation that Far Cry 4 is indeed in development, we should expect all three to be the main focus for the company. There’s also the long rumored sequel to Beyond Good and Evil. Ubisoft released a teaser trailer for the game several years ago, but has yet to share any news on its development.

We’re still awaiting the announcements for Microsoft’s and Sony’s press conference dates and times, but they should follow suite in having it like they always do, Mirosoft sometime in the morning, and Sony in late evening. Nintendo has also yet to detail whether or not they’ll be doing a formal conference, or if they’ll continue on with their Nintendo Directs.

E3 2014 officially runs June 10-12.

I have to wonder who they’ll get to host this time. . . Well, as long as they serve up the usual platter of games I expect of them, even another Caffeine man won’t stop ’em.
