Details On Dota 2 “The International” Championship Released
For uber-competitive games like Call of Duty and Dota 2, sometimes winning isn’t enough. You need to win in style. While claiming victory in public games is always nice, Dota 2 has built an impressive e-sports community, and the time is coming for them to show their stuff. Valve has announced this years Dota 2 championship tourney, known as “The International”, will take place July 18-21 at KeyArena in Seattle.
If you won’t be taking part, tickets are available for purchase in three tiers. General admission is available for $99, and floor seating can be had for $199. Alternatively,you can purchase the VIP ticket for a whopping $499, which includes access to the preliminary playoffs, floor seating, exclusive meet and greets and access to the after party. All of these tickets cover you for the entire tournament, and are available through Ticketmaster.
This year will see eleven teams directly invited, as well as the four regional tournament winners. The four runners-up in the regionals will then have one final tournament to determine the final spot.
