Ubisoft Reveals Watch Dogs’ Length
Ubisoft’s upcoming open-world game, Watch Dogs, will take at least 35-40 hours for players to complete, according to the game’s creative director.
Ubisoft’s Jonathan Morin replied to a fan on Twitter asking him how many hours will it take for the average player to complete Watch Dog’s story. “I would say the average player which does free roam a bit tend to reach the end within 35-40h,” he said. “But doing everything is close 100h.”
So if players want to see and do everything in the game, they’re looking at a playtime approaching triple figures. The game also features 8-player mutliplayer that will undoubtedly also add to the time spent with the single-player campaign.
The game originally was supposed to be a launch title for both PS4 and Xbox One, but it has since been delayed and will release on May 27 for both next-gen systems as well as PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The Wii U version however has been delayed further on, and there’s no specific release date for the platform yet. The reasoning behind the delay hasn’t been made clear.
