Heroes of the Storm Hero Pricing Announced
Blizzards upcoming MOBA Heroes of the Storm is officially in its alpha stage, with some lucky players getting an invite to participate this weekend. The game is similar to another popular MOBA League of Legends, in which players can choose from a pool of free heroes or can use in game currency or real money to permanently acquire them in their roster.
While the prices are certainly subject to change, the early placeholders range from $3.99-$9.99 per character. For an easy comparison, League of Legends prices per character range from $2-$7.50. Blizzards notes however that this is an only an alpha, and as such progress and purchases will not be saved. Worry not though, if you are participating in the alpha and want to buy some new characters the money will be credited back to your account once the alpha ends. BlizzPro has the full list of characters and pricing available on their website.
