Tales From The Borderlands Info Coming March 8th
After hearing about Telltale and Gearbox’s upcoming collaboration Tales from the Borderlands, information on the game has been scarce. Today, the studios announced that they will be hosting a panel at the SXSW Gaming Expo on March 8th to discuss the game.
Joining the panel will be Gearbox president Randy Pitchford, Borderlands 2 writer Anthony Burch and franchise director Matthew Armstrong. Joining them are Telltale Games president Kevin Bruner and designer Harrison Pink, and the panel is moderated by The Nerdist Networks “Indoor Kids”, Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon.
Telltale certainly has a lot on their plate right now. Along with Tales from the Borderlands, they are also currently working on The Wolf Among Us and season 2 of The Walking Dead, not to mention an announced Game of Thrones title coming at some point. It’s a lot to handle, and these properties all have rabid fanbases, so let’s hope the studio hasn’t bit off more than they can chew.
Still, with no Borderlands 3 in development right now, this may be our only chance to revisit Pandora for a while, so I’ll take what I can get.
