New Footage of Fez on PS4

Indie gaming’s smash hit, Fez, was recently shown running on the Playstation 4.

The video from IGN shows the game being played and running at 60 frames per second. Programmer of Fez, Richard Bédard, was in the comments of the video confirming details about the game.

“The Vita version is native [resolution] and running as fast as it can push pixels,” he said, “the PS3 version is 720p [and] 60 [frames per second]. The PS4 version is 1080p [and] 60 [frames per second].”

The eight minute video, which can be found by clicking here, shows the opening level of Fez.

Fez was originally released on the Xbox 360 and on PC in 2012. Fez won several awards and placed in many top 10 lists for game of the year. Over a million copies have been sold since being released on the Xbox 360 and PC, with many more to come when the game is released on the Playstation family.

Fez for the Playstation family does not have a release date, but with footage of the game running on the PS4, expect the game to be released sooner rather than later of this year.
