100 Games Heading To PS4 This Year
Sony has announced, via its official Twitter account, that the PS4 will receive around 100 games this year. “Here’s a fun fact: More than 100 PS4 games are planned for release in 2014,” the tweet reads. “Stay tuned for more updates from today’s media summit.” It’s unclear how many Xbox One games are coming to that system this year.
So far, we only know of a handful of titles that have already been announced, and have a release date. Bungie’s Destiny, Activision’s new Call of Duty game, Watch Dogs, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, Infamous: Second Son and The Elder Scrolls Online are such titles. We also have games such as The Order: 1886 which are expected to release this year, but a date hasn’t been detailed.
Sony also revealed yesterday, during its media event in Los Angeles, that the PS Vita Slim will be releasing in North America starting this Spring. The new model will debut alongside a $200 Borderlands 2 bundle that comes with 6 DLC packs and a 8GB memory stick.
The God of War and Sly Cooper HD Collections have also received an official release date; both titles will be available starting this May.
