Amazon France Lists Grand Theft Auto 5 For PC

Amazon France has posted a product listing for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5, all but confirming that Rockstar Games’ latest open-world epic will be heading to the platform. A representative from Rockstar failed to provide a statement regarding this leak.

To add to Amazon France’s credibility, the online retailer has had a habit of providing listings for unannounced games. Amazon provided first details on Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 as well the Ratchet and Clank, Splinter Cell, and Prince of Persia HD collections, just to name a few.

Just earlier today PC Gamer discovered a 150-page bug log that contains details concerning the plethora of issues Rockstar came across with the PC version of the game.

A petition to bring over Grand Theft Auto V to PC has garnered over 650,000 signatures as well.

If the title will come to PC, Robert W. Baird analyst Colin Sebastian contends that the game will also eventually make its way to the PS4 and Xbox One this year. Doing so will “help extend the value of the franchise,” Sebastian said.

GTA V became the best selling piece of entertainment worldwide and has generated over $1 billion dollars in sales in just a couple of days. Releasing the game on more platforms would be a logical step for Rockstar, as there’ll be a healthy demand for the product.
