The Last of Us “Left Behind” DLC Given a Release Date

The Last of Us was launched June 14th and is finally seeing it’s first downloadable content released next month. The game sold with a season pass and many buyers have been wondering “Where’s the DLC is at?”.

Creative Director of Naughty Dog, Neil Druckmann took to twitter to publicize the release date of the Last of Us’s first story DLC which will launch February 14th, on Valentines day. Now whether or not they think Valentines day is a good time to release a game about a zombie apocalypse is really their choice, but since The Last of Us has received so much credit and recognition, it will sell well no matter when it’s released.

The new story DLC called “Left Behind” features Ellie and her friend Riley and is different from the main game, because it mainly focuses on Ellie, instead of Joel this time around. The voice actor for Ellie, Ashley Johnson says “You kind of get to meet the real her.”, letting us know that it will be an even more personal story.

Now you have something else to make Valentines day a bit more exciting, look forward to the new DLC, on the 14th of February.
