Pokémon HeartGold, SoulSilver Digitally Remastered Soundtrack Out Now

The Pokémon Company International has released a digitally remastered soundtrack from the Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver games.  These games were released in 2010 as a next-generation remake of the original Pokémon Gold and Silver, and featured remixes of the 8-bit themes in the original titles.  The tracks were composed by Junichi Masuda, Gō Ichinose, and Morikazu Aoki.

Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver were known for their vibrant colors and the inclusion of the Pokéwalker.

This release comes after the soundtracks for Pokémon X and Y as well as FireRed and LeafGreen.  The X/Y soundtrack has over 200 tracks for only $9.99 (or buy the ones you want at the normal $.99).  FireRed and LeafGreen has only 90 tracks for $11.99.

The new soundtrack features 270 tracks for the same price as the X and Y soundtrack and can be downloaded on iTunes.

Upcoming soundtracks include Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, Diamond and Pearl, Pokémon Black and White, and Black 2 and White 2.  These are expected to be release sometime this year.

All the soundtracks are released under the Super Music Collection name on iTunes.
