Beyond: Two Souls Sells One Million Copies
Developer Quantic Dream announced today that the PlayStation 3 exclusive Beyond: Two Souls has sold over one million copies, an impressive feat considering the game launched in October and faced the daunting task of selling amidst a crowded next-gen console release schedule.
Starring the likenesses and voice talent of both Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, Beyond: Two Souls places players in control of a young woman named Jodie Holmes and Aiden, an otherworldly entity attached to Holmes by mysterious means. Throughout the story, players use both characters to interact with the world and learn more about each other as they endure all manner of hardship, including CIA operations, relationship troubles, and battling other paranormal entities in the world.
The game released to mixed critical reception, of which ours happened to be on the more favorable end. To learn more about Beyond: Two Souls, read our review here, and check out our official spoilercast here.
