The Elder Scrolls Online Release Date Has Been Announced

Bethesda have recently announced the Elder Scrolls Online release date for PC and Mac, and surprisingly it’s not that far away! It’s set to come out worldwide on April 4th 2014 (4.4.14). Don’t worry though console players, as the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions are set to come out shortly after in June 2014.

The Elder Scrolls Online is the latest game in the Elder Scrolls franchise and brings the legendary experience online for the first time and some of you may have been lucky enough to have played in the closed Beta this past year. The most recent beta had over 300,000 players in the game over 48 hours and you can expect many more Beta rounds to come between here and launch, according to Elder Scrolls Online Director Matt Firor. You can expect hundreds and hundreds of hours of content, more fun and responsive combat and a whole host of quests to keep you occupied

With the release date announcement comes a new release trailer as well, taking you straight into the War in Cyrodiil. Are you ready to head to war and claim the Ruby Throne? I will certainly be buying this come April, and here’s hoping to getting into a future beta test!
