Release Date Announced for Bravely Default: Flying Fairy

Heads up, JRPG fans! Nintendo announced today that Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will be releasing in North America on February 7th.

Along with the core game, fans will also have the option of purchasing a special collector’s edition of the game, including the game, art book, original soundtrack, and a set of AR cards.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy is a JRPG in the same vein as classics such as Final Fantasy, featuring turn-based combat and combos, a fantasy setting, gorgeous artwork, and fully voiced cutscenes and battles. The game receives its odd name from the mechanics of being able to “default” their experience points in battle for later or to “Brave”, which allows a player to unleash attacks during a turn in battle.

Check out the trailer below, and look for the game at retail and in the eShop for the 3DS.
