Dead Rising 3’s World Map Appears On The Internet
The Dead Rising 3 world map made a pretty shocking reveal across the internet today, showing just how vast the world really is. It’s so big, in fact, that Dead Rising 1 and Dead Rising 2 could fit comfortably on the map and still leave space according to Capcom. The studio said that players will probably end up using vehicles to traverse the map about 50% of the time, and that there also won’t be any irritating loading screens between areas. Whether this is a good or a bad thing is yet to be seen. Josh Bridge, the Executive Producer for Dead Rising 3, explained the large world in an interview with the Financial Times:
With the Xbox One, we had the ability to make a bigger world, and way more detail that can go into the world. We wanted to go truly open-world this time around. No more load screens, with the biggest world that we’ve been able to make, with loads of zombies.
In the map (which you can see below) the image on the top left is the map of Dead Rising 1, the bottom left is Dead Rising 2 and the right is the Dead Rising 3 map. Talk about loads of room to kill zombies! If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t want to see the map before the game is released, then stop reading at the bottom of this text. Dead Rising 3 is slated for a November 22nd 2013 release, exclusively for Xbox One.
