Ni no Kuni Sells 1.4 Million Copies
Namco Bandia has confirmed in a press release last week in Japan (Level-5 Vision) that they have sold 1.4 million copies of Ni no Kuni worldwide. The figure includes the sales of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, which was released for the PlayStation 3 and the Nintendo DS Japan only version.
When approached about the sales figure, Olivier Comte, Senior Vice-President of NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe, stated that “The franchise has been very well received in EMEA and as a result of its quality, has reached an amazing number of sales for a JRPG”.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (Second Country: The Queen of White Sacred Ash) released for the PlayStation 3 in Japan on November 17th, 2011 and more recently in the west on January 22nd, 2013. The JRPG has topped the UK Charts during its release date in January and many reviewers giving it a high grade.
