Virtual Headset for Sony’s PlayStation 4

Sony has plans of launching a virtual headset for its next generation console, the PlayStation 4. Rumors and gossip aside, it appears Eurogamer has figure out that Sony has a virtual headset in the works. The VR headset was expected to make an appearance at this years Gamescom but was pulled at the last minute. While there are little to no details on the device, sources claim that the device “will work similarly to Oculus Rift”. The device has apparently already been internally tested with the PS4 exclusive DriveClub. No comment so far about the VR device, but do expect to hear updates about something like it in the works.

Oculus Rift is the famous Kickstarted virtual headset which has featured the most realistic and promising results on any headset to date. Valve’s CEO ,Gabe Newell, gave it some promising words about its future. The Oculus Rift headset debuted at this years E3.
