Rockstar Releases A New Grand Theft Auto V Trailer

Just in time to brighten up your Thursday morning, Rockstar Games released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V. While it doesn’t show a lot of gameplay or open-world options, it does give us a better look at the game’s characters and main storyline. Check it out below:

Grand Theft Auto V tells the stories of three different men whose lives ultimately intersect when they’re drawn into the criminal underworld of Los Santos. Michael is a former bank robber who now lives a life of luxury with his dysfunctional family while Trevor, Michael’s former partner in crime, engages in psychopathic behavior fueled by drug addiction. The third man in the trio of protagonists is Franklin, a young repo man and ex-gangster who becomes involved with Michael after the two complete a job together.

Alongside the main story, Grand Theft Auto V looks to maintain its iconic tradition of being an open-world game that allows players to go anywhere and do virtually anything. It’s been said that the map of Los Santos will be approximately the size of Red Dead Redemption, San Andreas, and Liberty City combined, and will offer players a variety of gameplay options including new weapons to use, multiple vehicles to drive, and different side activities meant to complement the main game.

Grand Theft Auto V releases on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 17th.
