Atlus Bringing AquaPazza: AquaPlus Dream Match to North America This Fall
Atlus has announced that they are bringing a localized version of the fighting game AquaPazza: AquaPlus Dream Match to North American PS3s this holiday season. AquaPazza is developed by Examu and features 13 playable characters and 13 partner characters pulled from multiple eroge created by AquaPlus’s Leaf studio. The bulk of the game’s characters are pulled from three eroge in particular; Utawarerumono, Tears to Tiara, and To Heart. All three of which have also spawned anime and manga spin offs.
In AquaPazza players will be able to use the 13 partner characters to accompany them into battle. The partners assist players as one of three classes with one of four different actions. Players will get rewarded for using aggressive play styles and the partners add an additional asset to use against those who prefer defensive play.
The game will be based on the current 2.01 version of the arcade build and will retain the Japanese voice overs. While a solid release date is not yet known, Atlus has announced that it will be available both on disc available in retail and as a digital download from the PlayStation Store. Both versions will have a MSRP of $29.99 at launch.
