Pokémon X and Y Pre-Order Sales Reach 260,000 in 2 Days

According to a Media Create report, Pokémon X and Y pre-orders have pushed off to an impressive start.

Starting from August 10th, pre-orders were made available and already within two days of its starting period 260,000 copies have already been pre-sold in Japan, which has now surpassed Dragon’s Crowns 235,000 total sale.

According to Siliconera, Pokémon Black & White 2 sold 1.16 million pre-order units before its release date, and with still two months to go it’s no surprise that Pokémon X and Y will easily slide past the previously set high figure and continue to escalate to an even greater number, not to mention the pre-order bundles will help reel in even more sales.

Pokémon X and Y will be released later this year on the 12th  October , 2013.
