MechWarrior Online Raises $100,000 for Canadian Cancer Society
MechWarrior Online developer’s Piranha Games, have successfully raised over $100,000 for cancer research from selling special mech’s that are a representation of a five year old fan that lost her battle to incorporable brain cancer in May.
The mech model titled “Sarah’s Mech”, is based on the MechWarrior model JR-7D[S] favored by 5-year-old fan Sarah Marie Alida Perres.
At a price of $10 Piranha Games have informed purchasers of the mechs one hundred per cent of all proceeds made from sales will go to the Canadian Cancer Society.
