Activision Announces Call of Duty: Black Ops II Apocalypse
Activision have announced Apocalypse as the 4th and final expansion for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, which follows on from the previous three releases (Revolution, Uprising and Vengeance).
Apocalypse will feature four new multiplayer maps, two of which will be brand new, while the other two will be re-imaginings of previous maps used in Black Ops.
Also previously announced and released was a teaser trailer from Activision and Treyarch for what seems to be another Call of Duty: Black Ops II DLC titled Origins, which did not provide enough detail to give a clear understanding of what the release will be about apart from a nice belt that would make a good father’s day present and a giant mechanical robot that enjoys stepping on its viewer’s face.
Origins is described to be a new terrifying experience based in a WW1 France era filled with a new set of ass-kicking weaponry and giant 1,000 foot robots.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II Apocalypse will be released on August 27, 2013 for the Xbox 360 and can be purchased on Xbox LIVE for $15.
