Dragon Age 3 Will Have Multiple Playable Races and Riding Horsies

According to  VG247 some new news regarding BioWare’s  upcoming Dragon Age title Dragon Age 3: Inquisition has surfaced for those wanting to know more.

In response to mending wounds from criticizing fans that weren’t happy about the progress of  being forced to play as a human through Dragon Age 2’s campaign, and not having the freedom of being another race, BioWare have recently revealed that players will be able to create characters from multiple races within Dragon Age 3: Inquisition. However which ever species the player chooses to become they will also draw different impressions from the entire world within the title. For example there ‘’will be different levels of acceptance and discrimintation,” VG247 says. As well as choosing the race of the customized character, the player will also have access to choosing their name, class, gender, etc.

Enemies  are said to be more tactical and will have a different approach to battles depending on their race and characteristics.

The main character, who at this point is called the Inquisitor, will be voiced and not remain mute like the Hero of Ferelden.

Dragon Age 3: Inquisition’s map is magnified  and covers from Eastern Ferelden to Western Orlais. Although it may raise suspicion that it may take forever to get through the game, BioWare have not created the game to travel millions of miles to get to one destination. However if travel does feel a bit hard on the feet why not ride a horse? For the very first time the franchise will introduce riding mounts.

The same routine of completing quests and using items to make the player’s character stronger will be the main source for further developing their Inquisitor, which is crucial as some areas of the players overall map will not become available until the Inquisitor and his team are strong enough. New class based skill trees and specializations will be included to help further strengthen the players unit become more dangerously effective in battles.

Crafting items into new armour or upgrades to existing sets will be included, which means the player can apply their armour stats to other items in their  inventory.

There will no longer be repeating level designs , and each new area explored will be much larger than other areas included in the first two Dragon Age games.

Major decisions will have an even greater impact on the plot and change future events very dramatically, and choices from previous Dragon Age titles will be able to be transferred over.

Dragon Age 3: Inquistion will see a next year fall release and will be available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One and PlayStation4 consoles.

GameInformer have recently released the Dragon Age 3: Inquisition Coverage Trailer, which shows brief footage of Dragon Age 3: Inquisition’s developmental gameplay, which you can check out down below.
