Your Madden 25 Ultimate Team Can Transfer To Next-Gen
Hey, finally some good news involving sports and video games.
For those of you who enjoy Madden’s addicting Ultimate Team feature and want to enjoy it in the next generation as well, EA has thrown you a bone. You will be able to transfer up to 55 players, 45 items, and 1,000 reserve items to the PS4/Xbox One iteration of the game for no extra charge. Of course you can only go from PS3 to PS4 or Xbox 360 to Xbox One, but it is still a nice touch that EA did not have to do. No online pass, DRM blocks or microtransactions needed for this either, it is a one-time, completely free option.
You will need an online connection and an EA Origins account to make the swap. You will be able to use any Ultimate Team cards you have on the new system, but you won’t be able to sell them. In addition, if you own Madden 25 on current gen, you will get six free All-Pro packs on the PS4/Xbox One version, so there is no excuse not to have a great team from the beginning.
Luckily, it looks like EA is having an easier time with their pro football series than their college one, with its well-documented recent troubles. For those of you can’t wait to get started, Madden 25 releases August 27th for current generation systems, with an unannounced date later this year slated for the PS4 and Xbox One release.
Are you ready for some football?
