Ubisoft E3 2013 Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag
A brand new trailer was released for the all new Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag, further introducing us to an assassin with no honor, duty, or code as far as we know. Our latest protagonist is all about roaming the seas as a pirate. He walks into a bar as he and his men lay siege. Fighting with fists and bottles alike until he reaches a target to take some kind of bag off him. We also see bit more of the ship battle mechanics and maybe even some kind of hookshot. This assassin’s is grimmer than his predecessors, more violent, and brutal in his methods of killing. He’s colder as the last image we see is him crushing his foe with the wheel of the ship.
Jean Guesdon comes out as the creative director of Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag to tell us more about Edward Kenway. And promises that the past two years of development will deliver a brutal story that delves into why someone would want to become a pirate and that we’ll have historical figures like the famous Blackbeard.
We’ll hunt, attack forts, raid ship, explore Mayan Temples, underwater shipwrecks, and more civilized areas of the world. From battling on land, to navigating the harsh seven seas.
After his speech we get another small trailer showing us a bit more of the expansive world of Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag. From Kenway flying across the rooftops of Europe to him piloting his ship across the waves of the ocean.
