E3 2013: EA Ignite Engine – NBA Live 14

NBA Live 14 was revealed fully today at E3 2013 by EA.

The reveal began with a live action comparison of a basketball player against his EA Ignite opposite. The graphics were truly impressive with clothes moving as they should and the character model being very close to real life. However, this was introduced alongside a rubbish introduction by Sekou Andrews, a pointless “inspirational” speech.

Kyrie Irving, a real basketball player, came on stage to announce features of NBA Live 14 including BounceTek a new physics engine for NBA Live which “separates the ball” from the player’s hand so that the play is truly free and realistic. Also, NBA Live World was revealed. It is a database of players updated daily or weekly not monthly.

More details as we get them.
