Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Entering 3rd Beta Phase

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is set to enter the 3rd Beta phase this month, with the PlayStation 3 joining the beta testing phase for the first time.

Naoki Yoshida, Producer and Director, announced that the third phase of the closed beta testing for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is due to begin on Friday 14th June 2013. It’s the first phase to introduce the PlayStation 3 for testing, and PlayStation 3 gamers will be able to experience the world of Eorza alongside the PC players with the game’s cross-platform functionality. Beta phase 3 testers will also grab themselves access to a huge amount of new content, including the city states of Ul’dah and Limsa Lominsa.

You can apply online through the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn beta tester application site, and can apply for both the PC and Playstation 3 versions. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is set to launch on August 27th for the PS3 and PC.
