Xbox One’s Architecture Detailed

The recently revealed Xbox One will feature and updated  Kinect peripheral that is supposedly more precise in its readings. The Xbox controller will also be slightly updated in order to be more ergonomic and responsive. According to Microsoft’s presentation, the new controller is a “controller designed for gamers, by gamers.” Smartglass, the new feature introduced at last E3 will be featured heavily with the Xbox One.

The new Kinect sensor will seamlessly tie together every component of the new Xbox together. For example, when the player picks up their controller, Kinect will recognize both and respond accordingly. No specific examples as to what Kinect will do with this information has been revealed, although it is definitely a unique feature to think about.

Game saves, movies, music and other data will all be stored inside the Cloud so that there are more easily accessible for players to use anywhere they would like.
