Watch Dogs To Feature 60 Minutes of Playstation Exclusive Footage

In an open world where players can hack various electronic systems to complete objectives as well as using stealth and shooting, Watch Dogs has become notable for its premise and showing off actual gameplay during last year’s E3 instead of a cinematic trailer. Now Ubisoft has confirmed that Watch Dogs will feature an extra 60 minutes of gameplay exclusive to the Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.

“We can confirm that customers who will purchase Watch Dogs on PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 will be able to download 60 minutes of additional gameplay via the PlayStation Network after the game’s launch,” a Ubisoft spokesperson said. “As of now, we have no more details to share.”

This isn’t Ubisoft’s first time favoring the Sony game console. PS3 owners have found themselves privy to Ubisoft exclusives like extra co-op campaign chapters in Far Cry 3 and extra side stories for the Assassin’s Creed games.

Watch Dogs will be available for PS3, Xbox 360,Wii U, and other next-gen consoles whose names are not yet official in North America on November 19th and the 22nd for European markets.

For those who haven’t seen Watch Dog’s E3 gameplay footage or for those game publishers who want to know how to wow jaded crowds and gaming news media with E3 trailers (Hint: Don’t rely on a pre-rendered cinematic trailer):
