Cosair Vengeance Keyboard Coming in April
Corsair, a worldwide designer of high-end PC gaming peripherals, has announced today the Vengeance K70 mechanical gaming keyboard. The keyboard will be available in April at the suggested retail price of $129.99.
The Vengeance K70 features an aluminum chassis and Cherry MX Red mechanical switches under every key. Combined with the keyboard’s 100% anti-ghosting matrix, 20-key rollover, and 1000Hz reporting rate, this keyboard will be sure to provide gamers with fast, accurate input for gaming.
The keyboard will come in two color schemes: silver with blue backlighting or black with deep red backlighting. The lighting is individual for each key and can be adjusted to four different intensities, meaning players can vary the lighting of each independent key.
“When we launched the Vengeance K60, customers loved the look and quality, but some wanted a backlit version,” VP and General Manager of the Corsair Peripherals Business Unit Ruben Mookerjee said in a press release. “In typical Corsair fashion, we over-delivered and created Vengeance K70 with key-by-key backlighting, mechanical switches on every key, and two color schemes.”
Dedicated media controls attached to the keyboard allow players to play, pause, stop, and skip tracks and adjust volume as well. The Vengeance K70 also comes with an extra USB connector for attaching USB peripherals such as a gaming mouse or headset. An added soft-touch wrist rest provides comfort for long gaming sessions.
We’ll be checking out the keyboard for ourselves at PAX this weekend. Stay tuned to see what we think of it.
