GoG Sale: Buy Five Games and Save 80 Percent
I’ve always been a big fan of GoG.com and what it does. Though it may not have the extremely wide selection that Steam offers, it definitely has a decent selection, along with some fantastic games that Steam doesn’t offer (including some gems like Planescape: Torment and System Shock 2). But the part that gets me the most about GoG is that their games are DRM-free, which in this day and age, is a godsend. Enough about my love for them though, the news is that they are having a sale, and the pickings are pretty sweet!
In GoG’s sale, which ends on March 18, GoG has laid out a few games for the buyer to choose from. Choose any five of the selected games, and you get 80% off your purchase. The sale includes some decent games as well as some incredible ones. Some of the ones that caught my eye include Witcher: Enhanced Edition, Legend of Grimrock, Telltale’s Back To The Future: The Game, and Alan Wake as well as its followup, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare. I guess that’s five for me already (and for a steal at about $18). These, along with about 15 other games are up for sale right now, so head on over and check it out! You might find something worth purchasing.
If you haven’t already heard of GoG, you should mosey on over and get yourself an account. It reall is a beautiful and liberating feeling to play a game on PC that’s DRM-free. You at least owe it to yourself after this fiasco. The sale ends on March 18, so be sure to check out the selection and see if anything catches your eye before it’s too late!
