PlayStation Vita Anniversary Sale Continues with Free Games
Last Week, Sony updated the PlayStation Store with a collection of 13 discounted games as part of their PlayStation Vita Anniversary Sale. They are continuing the massive celebration this week (via PlayStation Blog). PlayStation Vita owners will be able to check out the latest deals tomorrow.
For starters, they are giving away four titles for free: Wild Arms (a PS one Classic), Patapon (PSP), Piyotama (PSP), and Patchwork Heroes (PSP). You can’t go wrong with free games, and the promotion runs from March 5 to March 11.
A number of PS Vita games are also available at a discounted price. All listed games are 30% off (50% off if you are a PlayStation Plus Member), and the massive list includes the following:
- Army Corps of Hell
- Big Sky: Infinity
- BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend
- DYNASTY WARRIORS NEXT
- Knytt Underground
- LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes
- LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes French
- LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7
- LEGO Lord of the Rings
- Pure Chess
- Retro City Rampage
- Sine Mora (with Trial)
- Spy Hunter
- Street Fighter X Tekken
- Sumioni: Demon Arts
- Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
Lastly, they’ve added a few more games to the sale, including FIFA Soccer 13 and Madden NFL 13 at 30% off, and Oddworld Strangers Wrath for 25% off.
Of these games, we can recommend a few who are unfamiliar with titles. For JRPG lovers, I highly recommend Wild Arms, and for those big on fighting games I recommend BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 is a decent game as well, and at a discounted price it is definitely worth it if you loved the books/movies.
Sony also reminds us the the March savings promotion is still going on, where customers can get $10 back for every $50 they spend using their SEN Wallet.
Maintenance for the PlayStation Store ends Monday, March 4, at 9 pm PDT. Be sure to pick up these games while they’re on sale – you have a week to do so.
