E3 2013 Will Have Super Smash Bros. U, Mario Kart U, and a Brand New 3D Mario Game To Show Off

During the Nintendo Direct conference this morning, Nintendo laid the ground work for an impressive E3 2012 line-up by announced that the new Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart, and a new 3D Mario game will all debut at this year’s mega-convention.

You should cool your jets when it comes to Super Smash Bros. U, though. Satoru Iwata, Nintendo’s President, also said that E3 will only show off the first few screens captured from the current build and went on to ask fans to make a bit longer on the fourth Super Smash game. It most likely will not be playable at E3 2013.

As for the new 3D Mario game, it is being developed by the team that  brought up the Galaxy games and 3D Land. Not much else was said about it but alongside the announcement at E3, the new 3D game will be playable on the show floor at the conference.

The new Mario Kart U will also be playable after its announcement. No details were given about the Wii U’s Mario Kart game except that it will be at the conference.
