Splinter Cell: Blacklist Creeps Into The Light On August 20th
Ubisoft’s new entry in the stealth/takedown franchise,Splinter Cell: Blacklistwas slated today for release on August 20th, 2013. The sneaky shooter will be available on launch date for all the main consoles including PC, PS3, and Xbox 360, complete with Kinect support for all you non-lazy gamers.
Pre-orders have been opened up as of today, which as you may of already guessed means plenty of pre-order bonuses from retailers Gamestop, Amazon, and BestBuy. Luckily enough, this time around all three big retailers have the same content up for early grabs. This includes a co-op map called The Dead Coast, and an Upper Echelon Suit with gold sonar goggles to display a nice bit of bling to go with your takedowns. Uplay has also entered the pre-order competition, although only with very un-specified “exclusive bonus content” at this point.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be an interesting venture, as its the first Splinter Cell to be created by Ubisoft, Toronto, and previously held a estimated release date of spring 2013.
