Ubisoft To Pitch Ghost Recon Movie To Hollywood
From Splinter Cell, to Assassin’s Creed, to even Watch Dogs, a game that hasn’t even been released yet, Ubisoft is making a big push for its treasured properties to get the Hollywood treatment. If this LA Times report is indicative of anything, Ghost Recon is up next.
According to the report, chief executive of Ubisoft’s Motion Pictures unit Jean-Julien Baronnet is organizing a movie pitch based on the Ghost Recon franchise. If you’ve ever played a Ghost Recon game before, then you’ll know they don’t really have involving storylines. Even so, it’ll be interesting to see what Ubisoft prepares, as well as which Hollywood production company actually picks up the rights to the movie. You can be certain there will be a lot of gun shots and explosions, though.
