7,000 Wii U Consoles Stolen In Seattle

Well, this seems like a bit of bad news for Nintendo. A bit? I meant quite a nice chunk. According to ABC, thieves stole about $2 million in Nintendo Wii U consoles.

ABC reports that, using trucks, thieves drove into a Seattle Air Cargo warehouse and hooked the two trucks to semi trailers. They then proceeded to load up roughly 7,000 consoles onto pallets, and drove off into the sunset. While ABC wasn’t sure whether the stolen consoles were Wii U or Wii systems, but Kotaku had police confirm the stolen consoles were, in fact, Wii U systems. According to police, they are on the lookout for two trailers marked with “McKinney,” in addition to a Seattle Air Cargo truck. At this point, it’s far easier to find the stolen Wii U consoles on eBay or Craigslist.
