EA Removed From NASDAQ 100

Electronic Arts will be removed from the Nasdaq’s top 100 list of non-financial companies on December 24th.

Activision is now the only gaming company on the list. The change comes as a result of the Nasdaq’s recent re-ranking of the index.

Netflix and RIM, the Blackberry developer, have also been dropped.

Share’s in EA stand at $15, in August they had reached a low of $11. Activision is estimated to be worth around $12 billion while EA’s value stands at $4 billion.
