Disney, Netflix Strike Deal

The Disney Corporation and streaming company Netflix struck a deal this week that will see Disney’s properties airing on Netflix. Why should you care? Because there are a lot of good Disney movies, for one, but this also will include both the Marvel and Star Wars properties as well.

Of course, you won’t be seeing any of them streaming until 2016, but once they do, the agreement states that Disney’s properties will reach Netflix seven to nine months after their release in theaters. The deal only applies to streaming, however, and not to DVDs.
