No Multiplayer For BioShock Infinite
After a recent conversation with a fan on Twitter, Irrational Games’ Ken Levine has confirmed that the upcoming BioShock Infinite will not include a multiplayer mode.
This carries on the tradition of the original BioShock, a game that relied on its narrative-driven story campaign to be its only draw. The only game to include multiplayer in the BioShock series was BioShock 2, a game often bemoaned by critics and fans alike.
While we still don’t know a whole lot about Infinite, a new trailer for the game was released several weeks ago that showed a bit more gameplay footage than we’ve seen before. The game is expected to release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on February 26th.
