3.5 Million Sales for Assassin’s Creed III

After releasing a week ago today, Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed III has managed to sell 3.5 million units. This marks a significant increase over sales of the previous title and forecasts some impressive numbers for Assassin’s Creed III in the weeks to come.

Assassin’s Creed III ditches series standouts Ezio and Altair and follows the exploits of Connor Kenway, a half Native American, half European Assassin living during the time of the Revolutionary War with his own grudge against the Templars.

The game is currently available for Xbox 360 and PS3 owners, with a Wii U version available alongside the  console’s launch on November 18th and a version for PC coming on November 20th.
